Meet Ollie

Meet Ollie — a seasoned tradesman bringing over 15 years of hands-on experience to the electrical trade. Ollie's career has taken him across drilling, quarrying, transport, and building, working both as an employee and running his own business — experience that's given him a broad skill set and a strong work ethic that's hard to teach.

With two years as a cable technician, pre-wiring and fitting out commercial sites with fibre and data cabling. He got hands-on running cables, terminating data outlets and patch panels, and managing cable pathways in server rooms across schools, retirement villages, and industrial and apartment buildings . After years in building and heavy machinery, Ollie's ready for a change of direction, k He already holds his 1F, 2F, 4L, WTR, D and P licences, and comes with a strong awareness of health and safety on site.

Outside of work, Ollie's just as hands-on — he's building a campervan out of a Hiace he picked up, chasing waves when he can, and tinkering away on other car projects. He spends his downtime with his partner and their pets, and brings that same practical, get-it-done attitude to everything he takes on.

I am an electrical apprentice with a year of experience on a rest home project, where I honed my skills while working closely with a team of skilled tradespeople.

In my early 30s, I’m passionate about combat sports and fitness, which has taught me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork —values I bring to the job site every day.

I take pride in being a dependable team player, committed to delivering quality results on every project.

I am a team player, who is motivated to develop my skills in the electrical field. I have had site work experience and enjoy getting out and about in the field. I believe I would make a strong electrician because I have a genuine interest in electrical work, am reliable, pay close attention to detail, and approach practical problems with confidence.
